Oh. That explained the stink eye. Sure he made sense, but his attitude… well. She shot him a nasty look, “Bloody fuckin’ try it.” She did lower the sword however, moving closer to the others, “I haven’t been bitten, I just have been running, a lot.” Her accent was clipped, a trademark of British schooling.
Marie looked up at the woman on the roof. Maybe she could shed some light on this situation. “You got a plan? Let me help. Prove myself somewhat.” She twirled the saber once, eager to get in with this group. Hell, she was eager to get in with any group. After so long alone, you just didn’t want to be alone. It sounded simple, but it was true, way, way too true.
She threw a glance over her shoulder at the other teen, wondering what the hell he was planning. Marie bit her lower lip, maybe showing up was a bad idea, maybe she should have just found a big building and jumped off, end this shit before it gets worse. She looked down at her hand. It was shaking.
Putting on a brave face, she looked back up at the woman, “So, how ‘bout it?”

“Come mierda, hijo de puta,” Jill spat in Gray's direction, eyes narrowed into tiny slits. “You were doing so fucking hot on your own, Mr. Cojones? You had shit. You had a fucking baseball bat and a goddam two-liter of Coke. You would have lasted about five more minutes and you know it, or I'm the motherfucking Virgin Mary.”
She grabbed Gray by the front of the shirt and bent in closer so that he could feel her anger. “And you know what? I don't particularly want you to stick around, you two-faced prick, you hypocritical pile of shit. You spout all this crap about wanting to be in a group and strength in numbers and guess what? You turn and go against the group every single step of the way. Where's the fucking strength in numbers if you undermine us every freaking second? That's what a group is, asshole. Either we work together or not at all. What, did they just not teach you that in kindergarten?”
Jill crooked an eyebrow at the new girl, “Yeah I have a plan, the plan is get the fuck out before this jackoff stabs us all in the back. You'd do well to do the same.”
At the end of her tirade, Jill and Donovan walked away, Jill stalking angrily, Donny silent, looking back over his shoulder uncertainly.
[[Cojones= balls; Come mierda, hijo de puta. = Eat shit, you son of a whore. That may or may not be gramatically correct as my Spanish is not that great, but who cares, it's just cursing...]]

Gray rushed behind Jill and shoved her forward as hard as he could in hopes on knocking her to the ground. He stepped toward her and spat in her face, "You can't talk to me like that you dirty Mexican whore, getting knocked up at fucking 14 and raising a fucked up child who thinks its ok to act the way he does." He kicked dirt at her, "I want to stay with the group. I think it best we stick together and stop all this damn arguing. I also think it would be wise for us to sit down and THINK of a plan rather than just rushing in and getting out asses eaten alive, you shit-faced cunt."
He glared up the hill to the men and jogged toward them, "Ok. Listen to me. If you really want to help the fuckers in there we have to think. We can't just hope for the best and dive in there. Donovan said there was a sky light. Lets go up there and look in to see what the hell is going on. We can snipe from up there. We can do something smart. Making a lot of noise is NOT smart. You'll pull every fucking Special Infected inside. We need to do this slowly. Got it?"

Setsuna rolled his eyes, content to not get involved. If everything went to hell, it was best not to have people out there who wanted you dead, and who could use weapons. He leaned back against the wall, cradling his rifle in his arms like an oversized baby. "Fucking hell." His words were soft, more of a mutter than anything. This was not going good. He gave Gray a flat stare, half ignoring him.
( Going out of state I'll be back on sunday, If anything happens, I am sitting my ass on the roof and shooting some stuff. )

< Have fun! >
Ok, he had gone too far now. It was one thing to say someone's plan was shit, but to do what Gray had just done. No. No no no. The short youth strode forward setting herself in Gray's path, an angry glint in her eyes. "The bloody hell you think actin' like this is gonna do for you?" She rested the Tip of her cavalry saber less than in inch from the teen's throat. He wouldn't have been the first asshole uninfected she had killed. Admittedly the others had been trying to rape her, but still. He wouldn't be the first.
Looking around Grey's shoulder she eyes Jill, the woman, "You ok?" Nothing like natural human emotions to fuck up a time when everyone needed to cooperate. And nothing like the human memory mess it up more. Ah hell. Well... No, she should probably bring it up. No, not now. Yes. now. Ah fuck. "Shit guys, I just remembered." She lowered the sword and taking a step back from Gray. "I saw a canni-" Her sentence was interrupted by a low thumping, nothing to loud, but a definite vibration in the ground. It quickly grew and a loud crunching sound came from Rifleman's car as the cannibal thundered over it.
"Yeah." Her voice was meek.
She wasted no time, scrambling for a drain gutter. Half climbing, half wall running, Marie managed to find purchase on the roof. Swinging her body she rolled on top of the building looking down at the approaching cannibal. It still had to climb the hill to reach them, but it was coming...

Gray turned from where he was, eyes filled with panic.
"Shit!"
He dodged the Cannibal's fist that swiped past him. He knelt where he was for a moment before regaining his balance and rushing toward the thing. He jumped onto its arm and hung on for dear life. Consumed with the idea of getting a four man snack, the Cannibal ignored the boy on its arm. Gray scrambled up and wrapped his legs tightly around the Cannibal's neck. He raised his bat and swung it into the thing's skull in an attempt to crush it before the beast wreaked further damage. Instead the Cannibal made a dumbfounded face and reached its massive hand to the back of his neck where he found something small and warm, maybe a bunny. The Cannibal lifted Gray from its back and looked at him, assessing what he was.
Gray didn't move. He fell limp in the thing's hand, eyes shut. His bat fell from his grasp and clinked as it hit the ground. The Cannibal surveyed its catch a moment longer before it deducted that the boy was dead and tossed him over his shoulder. Gray flailed as he flew and landed hard on the pavement a few feet from the car. There was a sharp intake of breath as he landed, but he remained still.
The Cannibal lumbered toward the rest of group.

The Cannibal tossed Gray across the sidewalk. Like the trash he is, Donovan thought with a sneer, angry at the way Gray had spoken to his mother. See how you like that, you fucker. But before his mind could tell his body not to move, he instinctively flung himself onto the beast. His until-now forgotten switchblade SCHINKED out of his sleeve. He panted wildly, clambering for a foothold on the Cannibal's greasy back.
The shouts of the others crescendoed, but he couldn't make out what they were yelling. At this point, Donny was clinging to the monster's neck with both arms. It bucked and thrashed, trying to unseat the little boy.
That's when the chest pain came back in full force. Aw fuck it, Donny thought. Better to go down fighting.
With a bloodcurdling yell, he rammed his blade into the eye of the beast, losing his grip as he did so.

Fuckin' knew it. We wasted too much time and look who came around.
That was the major thought running through Tanjuu's mind as the cannibal raced towards the group, knocking Gray away in the process. While he would normally have had a laugh of dark humour at this, it wouldn't be right to do so as the kamekazi youth Donovan leapt onto the creature. Either incredibly brave or equally as stupid, Donovan managed to stab it between the eyes with a small switchblade and a loud shout.
Obviously the creature was in pain, thrashing about wildly and knocking Donovan clean off. As it continued to lumber about in the general direction of the fallen child, Tanjuu whistled loudly to get the beast's attention and started shooting at it.

Strong arms wrapped around Donovan before he could hit the ground. The Cannibal turned and then jerked rapidly with the firing from Tanjuu's rifle. The man who had caught the boy ran toward Jill. His hood flew back revealing his smooth features and ice-blue eyes. He offered her a kind smile and raised her son toward her.
"I think that this is yours," a faded Swedish accent managed through harsh breaths. Over his shoulder the Cannibal was dancing around stupidly, looking for the boy as well as trying to figure out where the firing was coming from. It wont be long until he goes down.
The large infected stumbled in the direction of Gray's motionless body, tripping a little as it went, small explosions of blood emitting from his massive body as each bullet tore through him.
The Swede watched Tanjuu fire with admiration, he had quite the impressive aiming ability. He offered the mother a smile over his shoulder before running up the hill gracefully and standing near Tanjuu to observe the battle from the "hero's" point of view.
That was when he spotted the teen dangerously close to the clamoring giant. His eyes blue eyes widened and he yelled for Tanjuu to cease fire momentarily.

The stranger swept in like an avenging angel, all golden and blue eyed, rescuing Donovan from the Cannibal and from Tanjuu's gunfire. Gillian drew her own weapon and fired off a few rapid shots, cheering inwardly as each one met its target.
But then the Cannibal, bewildered by the gunshots and commotion, turned and thundered back towards the unconscious Gray. It bared its slavering teeth and emitted an angry staccato chattering. Finally, the monster had settled on the easiest victim. The stranger shouted for them to cease fire.
Right now Jill couldn't stand Gray, but that didn't mean she wanted the young man to be zombie chow. Glancing around desperately, her gaze alighted on the girl on the roof. For a split second, Jill could almost see herself reflected in the young girl's eyes. In an instant of clarity, she slowly drew her weapon back up to her shoulder in spite of the blond man's warning. She fired off three shots in a quick burst.
Jill was a damn good marksman. The first bullet hit the Cannibal's temple, the next hit its heart, and the last grazed Gray's shoulder to embed itself in the stomach of the gluttonous beast. The creature howled and its immense mass thudded to the ground, landing on top of the hapless Gray. It let out one final roar of rage and then became still.

Luke screamed and galloped down the hill toward the fallen Cannibal and the crushed boy beneath it. He stopped about halfway down and eyed the thing, fearing that perhaps it wasn't dead, but still, he needed to get the boy out from beneath it as soon as possible. As he passed Jill his eyes met hers and he began to sprint toward Gray, "You may have killed him!"
He knelt next to the beast. It was still breathing and its rancid hot breath left Luke moist and sticky. He watched as the remaining big green eye swam in the creature's head with approaching death. It seemed not to mind Luke, so he pressed himself against the thing's shoulder in an attempt to roll it off of Gray. After a few harsh shoves he gave up.
"Jesus, brother, you must weight 800 pounds." He laughed a little and stood for a moment trying to figure out what else he could do. That is when he spotted Gray's boot. He wasn't sure of the boy's position under the creature, but decided that anything was worth saving the boy's life. He took hold of the black Doc Marten and pulled as hard as he could. Gray's leg slid out. The Cannibal let out a pained glower and rolled over. Luke saluted him, "Thank you."
The Swede knelt next to Gray's bloodied form and ran a hand across the boy's sweaty face, pushing the platinum bangs from his forehead so that he could get a good look at him. His nose was bleeding and his cheek was scraped up pretty bad. Luke pressed his ear against the boy's chest. Pulse, check. Breathing... breathing? Hello?
Luke sat up and looked at the boy, fear in his eyes. He didn't want to move him until he was sure nothing was broken and he couldn't figure that out unless he talked to the teen. He bent over Gray's form and pushed his index and middle finger between the boy's lips and then used them to pry Gray's mouth open. He pressed his lips against his and blew two breaths into the teen's motionless lungs. He sat up and watched him for a moment and noticed the jerking of the boy's chest, this eventually calmed and he seemed to be breathing shallowly.
Luke smiled and pat the unscathed part of Gray's face firmly. His smile widened as the boy's emerald eyes flitted open, "There we go... how are you my boy?"
Gray sat slowly, raising his hands and looking at them. Both were scrapped pretty badly, hell his entire right arm had a huge asphalt burn all the way up it where the blood had already crusted over. He winced and pulled up his shirt to reveal the same phenomenon across his right side and looked at his leg to see a little on his right knee. His left index finger ran gently across his nose and and then across the back of his head, he winced with both touches. The spiked hair on the back of his head began to stain crimson with the blood that poured from the wound there.
Luke scooted behind Gray and ran a hand up the back of the boy's head as gently as he could manage to move the locks so that he could get a good look at his scalp wound, "It's not too bad, sir."
Gray grinned- but stopped short, wincing at the pain that arose in his cheek and nose when he did, both spouted blood immediately at the motion. He was shaking all over. With effort he turned to face the man, but was distracted by the tickling sensation the blood running down his left arm made. He looked at the cut across his upper arm where the bullet had grazed him, just centimeters away from his tattoo. He pressed his right hand against it and looked back to Luke, "Who...?"
Luke shushed him and stood, walking around to his left side. He knelt again and picked the boy up with ease. Without protest, Gray rested his head against the man's chest and closed his eyes. Luke looked up to the gunman, the ragged girl, the mother and the other Asian, "You seem like quite the motley crew." He offered a kind smile with a dash of 'don't shoot me' added in. "We need to get this one cleaned up." He nodded to the boy in his arms, "Lets clear out the inside and get to a bathroom ASAP, ok folks? To the roof!"

It had happened really quite fast, the swedish accented man was now telling them to evacuate to the rooftops. For some reason, this didn't come off as a jerk move.
Don't know who the hell this guy is, but I like the way he thinks.
"Right, meet you lot up there then." What else was there to say? Tanjuu moved away from the fallen Cannibal and quickly began to retrace the route of the blood-cover young woman up the side of the Planetarium.

Marie watched the whole commotion from the roof top. The child's brave attack making her feel foolish and weak. Her gut kept telling her to scoot back, get as far away as possible from the beast, but her heart told her to help. Thankfully that mobster guy opened up with a big gun the mother added her fire too. Guns usually beat swords. For a moment, her eyes met those of the mother, and she couldn't help but let her abject fear and helplessness show.
And then, this new guy, out of no were. What the hell. Like superman or some shit. Not that Marie was complaining. She just held her ground, her tongue, and her sword. She was quickly joined by the machine-gunner and the rifle guy. She looked at the man with the tommy gun. "I.. I didn't do anything..." She looked pitiful, half crouched on the roof, looking up at the man. "I. I should have... helped." Her feisty demeanor was gone, shed away by the attack. It had all been a show anyway. She was scared shitless.

Brandt's right eye twitched. That young man he saw on the roof earlier... just ran off without any warning. Not very bright. Assuming that was a baseball bat he was holding. Why? That's the lamest excuse for a weapon ever. If anything, Brandt would be surprised to see the lad still alive if they happened to cross paths again.
Staying behind the group in the Planetarium, he saw nothing of the events that happened there. He sure heard it though. Screaming survivors? This is horrible. The MIA soldier should probably stay away from them... but... such weaklings don't tend to last long. It would be benefiting only in the chance of possibly nicking valuables... once they're dead.
Brandt curiously rubbed his chin, following in pursuit of where the sounds were coming from. Shifts the weight of his duffel bag to the other side of his self, well worn from his day's activities. Since the last time he saw the mysterious young teen, his face has been scratched up.

Upon reaching the rooftops, Tanjuu was able to watch the other's backs as they made their move. As he did however, he could see the young girl looking back up at him, seemingly apologising for not fighting the cannibal. And that was when all possibility of this woman being a enemy dropped clean out the back of his head.
He no longer saw a blood covered, sword wielding threat. This was a frightened teen whom he'd previously insulted and was chastising herself for not attacking a musclebound creature with a sword!
"Don't beat yourself up about it, doesn't matter in the slightest."
