Eden grimaced. She was passed the age where romance bothered her, but this was too much. She watched the gun fly and smiled wickedly. Mistake number one. She raced toward the gun, lightfootsteps echoing in time with the contempoaray jazz coming from the large speakers that adorned the building. When she reached the little pistol she picked it up and aimed it at the Siren, running back toward her, "You let him go right now or I will splatter your pretty little brains all over the floor!" She cocked the gun, purely working off what she had seen in movies and advanced on the woman, "Now."
Her index finger was already surpressing the trigger but she would wait until the thing moved at least a few inches away from her new friend's face.

[[Is no little pistol, it's a big ol' shotgun!!]]
Bud growled and pulled the blonde goddess closer. He kissed the skin of her neck, savoring its softness and burying his face in her golden hair. Yum. Then he maneuvered so that they were even closer together, if that was even possible. Panting in anticipation, he lifted her in his strong arms...
Just then a shrill voice cut dimly through Bud's subconscious. He turned his body ever so slightly to the side so that he could look for the source of the noise.
[[There we go, that's all he can muster but I hope it's enough!]]

((Nice! Its all good for me...))
Busy receiving a form of physical worship from her new plaything it would not have been incorrect to say that Brit had... sort of forgotten about the Juicebox for the moment. Perhaps not forgotten but a young girl of course couldn't do much, could she?
"You let him go right now or I will splatter your pretty little brains all over the floor!" {Eden} cocked the gun, purely working off what she had seen in movies and advanced on the woman, "Now."
{Bud} turned his body ever so slightly to the side so that he could look for the source of the noise.
Both hands clasped themselves on the sides of Bud's head, trying to keep his attention on her and only her, fingers playfully tussling his hair, his eyes turned to her half exposed breasts as she turned her head, shooting a glare at the girl.
"If you fire that thing the only one who will have their brains on the floor will be dear Papa here..." Trying to keep his attention she gave him one more kiss and then came back to her conversation with Juicebox. "Drop the shotgun and leave and I might just turn my head away the next time I'm looking for something to eat. You're too small for a decent meal anyway, Snackpack."

Eden growled and ran forward, shoving the gun into the girl's exposed mid-section and firing three times. "Shut up you stupid bitch!"
She looked to Bud and reached up, smacking him across the face with her free hand, "Lets go."

It may have been more interesting if there had been more to say, some form of witty banter or acts of true wit but among this new world and its order there was only the gritty truth that survival of the fittest is the only method by which to judge a man. Or in this case a 13 year old weighing 110 pounds with a shotgun. Whatever.
Her mid section all but destroyed Brit landed on the faux marble floor with a sickening thud. While her body was destoyed her face remained pristine, smiling just a little at the severe irony of her being beaten by a child who had probably never used a shotgun. Fighting for a man she barely knew. She laughed coldly, though her tone was growing weaker.
"Like I always said... a girl without daddy issues is like a day without sunshine... "

The force of Eden's palm on face brought Bud back to reality. He moaned, trying to pull himself back together. The siren's spell was broken, but still he bowed his head, ashamed. “Yeah, let's get out of here,” he said. He would just have to try his best to forget the taste of her on his lips.

((I killed this one, sorry. ^^'))
Eden lowered the gun, a tinge of horror in her eyes. She had just shot and killed something. She tried to shake it away and followed after Bud a little absently, "Yeah, lets get out of here..."

Gillian Casey and her son Donovan made a pretty picture as they strolled through the mall hand in hand: a young attractive mother and her bright, laughing little boy. But in stark contrast to their behavior, Jill had a split lip and crimson smears down her white tank top and Donovan was sporting a black eye and brandishing a pistol. For now, though, they were safe and happy. The game was to step only on the white tiles and avoid the blue ones at all costs, for, as Donny announced joyfully, the blue tiles “represented the ocean and that meant they had sharks in them.”
Jill lurched to a halt as the toe of her boot came down flush in the middle of a spreading red puddle. “Shit...” she breathed, pulling her son behind her to protect him from the gruesome sight of a woman with her innards blown all over the floor.
“Mom?” asked Donny, “What do the red tiles mean?”
“D, shhh,” Jill hushed the boy. She was busy following the trail of blinding red footprints that led to one of the exits.

Hearing voices, Eden turned and tugged on Bud's arm, "I hear people! Real people!" She looked up to him, pleading with her blue eyes as she tried to drag him back toward the carnage of the woman, toward the sound of survivors. She looked up to see a woman and a boy walking slowing in there general direction. Eden smiled and rushed toward them, abandoning her new friend for the moment, "Hey!" She cried, it was the second cheerful greeting she had given today.

Bud turned in the direction that Eden had indicated. The little red-haired girl was practically buzzing with excitement, and for good reason. There were a couple of people walking slowly their way. As they got closer, Bud joined his voice to Eden's and began shouting joyfully. When the figures got a little closer, he could see that it was a youngish-woman and a boy who was even smaller than Eden. When they got a little closer, Bud noticed that they were related, with identical tan skin, dark wavy hair, and the same exotic almond-shaped eyes. The little boy reminded him a bit of his nephew Seb. The woman...well, the woman had legs and an ass to rival even the dead Siren.
Bud grinned. Although Eden had saved his life, he doubted they would survive much longer on their own, and, not to be cliché, there was strength in numbers.

Jill freaked out inwardly when she heard the noisy shouts of the strangers. Are they stupid? With one swift movement she had spun the pair around, one in each arm, and clamped a hand over each of their mouths. The big man could easily disarm her, she knew, but she had the element of surprise.
“Shush,” she hissed. “Do you want to bring an entire horde down on us? Then shut the hell up.” When she felt sure that the strangers had wisened up a bit, she released them, and held out her hand for the young girl to shake. “Gillian Casey, and this is my son Donovan.”

Safely hidden back in the darkness, Jack watched on with unfathomable hatred.
God damn them, would it have killed them to at least wait a few minutes? Another moment longer and I'd have been able to at least say hi to her.
*Now look who's getting angsty. For all you know, she could still be alive.*
She's almost been shot in friggen' two! But there's still a possibility. I... I gotta go see her.
*Then bide your time and wait until these guys leave.*
And wait he would, in silent anticipation.

Eden made a face at the woman-- they weren't yelling that loud. She hated people that were this afraid of the zombies-- yeah they scared her, but if they were going to kill her eventually anyways, she may as well enjoy what time she had. Her blue eyes left the woman, as did her glare. She crossed her arms and looked to Donovan before holding out her hand and looking like a real adult, yeah right.
"Eden, nice to meet you Donovan." She offered him a kind smile, one that said "Please be my friend" without looking stalker-ish. She giggled a little and dropped her hand, "Sorry."

Donovan looked the girl (Eden, he reminded himself) up and down. She was a little older than him, true, but she was HOTTT in a tough-girl kind of way, sort of like this girl Hannah who babysat (ugh, he hated that word) for him a couple times back in Texas. He held out his hand and gave her a smirk. “My friends all call me D,” he said. Yeah, he dug readheads, alright. He shot a sideways glance at his mom, sending her a silent thought signal that yes, they should stay with these people.

She smiled and shook his hand roughly before letting him go and crossing her arms again, looking up to the adults for a moment and then back down to him, "D it is, then, 'cause I'm your friend whether you like it or not."
She stuck her tongue out playfully at him before tugging on the bottom of the man's shirt, "Hey you, do you want to introduce yourself to these fine people or just stand their looking purty all day?" She laughed again as he big gray-blue eyes looked up to him.
