Name: Collin Cauldwell
Age: 12
Gender: Male
Bio: Collin is your typical spoiled rich kid. His family's great wealth was enough to protect them from the infestation for many years, as they lived in a mansion built hidden in the forest of the family's private island. Collin had private tutors, his own chef, doctor, and butler, all of whom lived at the house, and isn't capable of doing much for himself. Collin was a skinny pale boy who rarely went outside, being more interested in playing video games on power supplied by a large generator on the island. His mother often worried about his health, and, being stranded on their island, she had plenty of time to dote and check on him, much to Collin's annoyance. He, however, makes full use of tis and gets whatever he wants from her. Collin's father, despite the world being in ruins around them, still managed to occupy himself almost completely with business.
Then, the island's one weak point proved to be just that. It was, of course, necessary to ship supplies, such as food, to the island, and Mr. Cauldwell payed a great deal for this service. A few days before Collin's twelfth birthday, a single infected showed away, whether intentionally or not, below the deck of the supply boat. After the boat docked and the driver opened the cargo hold, took a box, and walked off toward the house, the zombie exited, ran to the mansion, and began what he did best. For the unprepared family and eight or so members of the help, sleeping unguarded in the early morning, the single zombie was enough. There wasn't even much of a fight. Colin's room was the only one on the top floor of the mansion, and his was the last room that the zombie entered. Luckily for him, the driver of the boat had heard his mother's maid's screams, and ran back to the house. He got there as the zombie reached Collin's room and, being from the mainland and therefore armed, shot the zombie several time in the back and head. He found Collin to be the only survivor, cowering back in his room. He couldn't leave Collin alone on the island, so took him back to the mainland. Collin was completely unused to living in the two room, run-down house of a deliveryman, however, and was completely intolerable and ungrateful. The deliveryman turned him out after a week. Collin was too prideful to beg to stay, and so he left, and started walking.
Appearance: As previously mentioned, Collin is pale and thin. He is also short for his age at four and a half feet. He has dark brown hair that used to offer designer cuts, but has since grown out into a shag that covers his brown eyes. He is of unknown, mixed decent, but looks typically American. He has gotten even skinnier on the road, without his personal chef watching out for him.
Personality: Collin is quiet, but when he does speak it is usually some sarcastic, unhelpful remark. He is intelligent and likes to show it, but will almost never help with physical labor. He is ungrateful, hopelessly spoiled, childish, and is still surprised when people do not do what he wants for him. Most of his faults can be blamed on his upbringing, however, and perhaps in time he will grow up and learn a better way to act. He is neat and organized. He is also very self-conscious and not confident, which e hides with sarcasm. He is also, of course, completely unsuited for the life he has now found himself in.
